“The work an unknown good man has done is like a vein of water flowing hidden underground, secretly making the ground green.” – Thomas Carlyle.

Our thanks to all of the volunteers that are helping to make El Yunque's ground green again, particularly in the post-Hurricane Maria recovery!

Volunteers are at the very heart of the Forest Service. As a volunteer, you will be helping manage resources that are increasingly important to our Nation. In recent years, the Forest Service has relied on volunteers to maintain trails, serve as hosts at campgrounds, and perform many other valuable services. Without volunteers, these services would not be performed as well or might not be performed at all.

If you are interested in volunteering in El Yunque National Forest, please email: SM.FS.EYNF.Vol@usda.gov

Provide your contact information, availability and interests, and any skills or restrictions you may have.
