This river has been the site of long-term study by LTER and USGS of stream chemistry samples, ongoing measurements of conductivity, dissolved oxygen, water and air temperature, nitrate, turbidity, pH, CDOM, and specific conductance. There is a sign marking that it is Sonadora.
