The Puente Roto or “Broken Bridge” recreation site is found along the recreation segment of the Rio Mameyes, which is designated by Congress as a Wild and Scenic River for its outstanding natural beauty. It is an undeveloped recreation area that has a large area for water play due to the river's width at this point. It is a nice location for swimming, wading and picnicking along the banks of the river.
